Zero-offset rim - indicates the mounting hole fixing surface of therim, which is located on the centerline of the rim. (for SUV models and some BMW cars)
Positive offset rim - indicates the distance between the joint surface of the rim and the center of the rim, which is the direction to the outside. (for front-wheel drive and some rear-wheel drive models)
Negatively offset rim - indicates the distance between the joint surface of the wheel rim and the center of the rim, in the direction of the inside.
The ET value of the rim refers to the degree of deviation between the junction of the rim and the center line of the rim, referred to as the offset (off-set value), which is divided into three types: positive offset, negative offset and zero offset. . If the ET value is larger, the rim will be more recessed inward (the wheel spacing between the two coaxial rims will become smaller), rather than protruding. The smaller the ET value, the more protruding it is to the outside (the wheel spacing between the two coaxial rims becomes larger).
